Tanner's Preschool Christmas Party

Today was Tanner's preschool Christmas party. It was so cute. He was so happy I could come and I was happy to get to spend some one-on-one time with him.
It started with Christmas bingo.
Then we did a Christmas tree craft. Tanner told me he wanted us to make the craft "together".
So cute.
Then the kids took turns playing this chimney game. They had to try and toss the presents into the chimney. It was pretty adorable.

Then one of the moms read a Christmas story to the class. Tanner was so attentive. We had just read the exact same story the night before so he was excited to recognize it.
Then it was time to eat. Tanner isn't really one for sweets, so he didn't eat much of his food.
He had one bite of his cookie, ate his cheese stick and some crackers and called it good.
He loved having me there though.
Before we left the party Tanner gave his teacher her Christmas present. We got her a tumbler cup that said  "My teacher is the best" She loved it and we love Ms. Leslie.
After chatting with some of the other moms, I turned around to leave with Tanner and found him chilling in front of the faux-fireplace and Christmas tree.
Love that silly boy.

The following Friday was the last day of preschool before Christmas break. They made it into a pajama day and let the kids wear their Christmas pj's and they watched "Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer". Tanner was pretty excited to get to wear his pj's to school. I love this boy.

Tanner is excited for a break because he loves getting to just chill at home, but I think he will be ready to go back when the time comes.
