The Circus has come to Town- Just in Time for Halloween

Come one, come all to the Herb family circus. This year the circus came to town just in time for Halloween.
Guys, I kind of loved this year's theme.
Seriously? LOVED how it came together.
Little Benson was our strong man. He was the cutest chubbiest strong man ever!

Sweet Bailey was our clown. She loved her costume. She loved the way she looked and she loved posing for the camera.

Seriously, she kept posing herself and smiling so funny at the camera. Lacey Quale came with us and took some family pics for us. When she saw what Bailey as wearing she actually asked if she could photograph Bailey. I, of course, said yes and she ended up taking pictures of everyone.
Tanner was our lion tamer. He was so cute and he loved his ring of fire.
Oh and Tuck was our lion. They were a pretty cute team.
Tucker was also very much in character. He was growling the entire time.

Oh I was the creepiest mime. lol. But I felt like it was the easiest costume to pull together for myself and the cheapest.
But my sweet husband was the most handsome ringleader.
And these kids rocked their pictures.

This is my most favorite picture from Lacey. I love every one's personalities.
It cracks me up so much!
On Tuesday we went to Chris' office and trick-or-treated Sam's club.
This is always a favorite for our family and the kids get so much candy.
This cute strongman. I can't handle his cuteness.
Tucker loved trick-or-treating Sam's. He got so many comments and so much candy!
Oh and Bailey was totally in character too.
There were so many great themed rooms. We really loved this "Alice in Wonderland" room.
And Bailey loved the "Beauty and the Beast" room.
We left Sam's with so much candy it was a bit ridiculous. The kids' buckets were already filled to the top when we left.
Then we drove over to "Ihop" and ate our free scary face pancakes. This is a fun tradition.
We use to always go in the morning before my kids started school. But then last year we got to go with Dad and we all loved that. So this year, we got pancakes for dinner so Dad could come.

The pancakes were delicious as usual. After dinner at "Ihop" we went home and met Uncle Joseph and his family and we all trick-or-treated together.
It was a great Halloween. After we got home, we passed out candy for a while and the kids went to bed. It was one for the books. I just love my little crazy family. Sometimes life with four kids really is a circus, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Happy Halloween!!

More Halloween Partying

Yesterday, after school, we went over to Lacey's house for a small Halloween party.
It was pretty crazy but the kids had a great time.

How cute are all these little friends? It was us, the Caresias and the Quales.
It was seriously a mad house but the kids loved it.
The kids ate their Halloween themed snacks first.

Then we played Bingo.
Then we decorated Halloween cookies.
Benson just hung out and everyone snuggled on him.

The kids did sack-races

Our last activity was a donuts on a string contest.
This is a favorite of mine because it's so hysterical to watch.

Then tonight we had all the cousins over to carve pumpkins and then we ate chili/chili dogs.
The pumpkin carving party was a total success. The kids loved it and we were happy to spend some time with all the cousins.

Even little Benson hung out with us as we carved, scooped and cleaned our pumpkin.

You can't really tell but we carved a "Darth Vader" jackolantern this year.
The kids unanimously agreed on Darth Vader and so that made it pretty easy.

After we finished carving, I found Bailey reading a Halloween story to Max and Hazel. That's pretty dang cute.
We had to get one cousins shot. Benson was already in bed at this point. But how cute are all these kids? I love my nieces and nephews.

We had a fun weekend of Halloween activities and we are so excited to go trick-or-treating on Tuesday.
