Tucker's 8th Birthday

We just got to celebrate Tucker's birthday with friends and family last weekend. It was so fun.
Tucker picked a "Panda" theme and I wasn't too sure about it at first, but it was cute and Tucker loved it.

The food was really fun to make and the table was fun to style.
I made these cute panda sugar cookies and they took me way longer than they should have taken.
We also had these cute oreo cookie cups and some popcorn in the scalloped cups. If you aren't seeing a theme yet, we were really loving the black and white accents.

I also made these panda cake pops. They also took way too long, but these were one of Tucker's favorite parts of the party so it was worth.

This cake was by request from Tucker. It was actually really fun to make. I love getting to try new cake decorating techniques. This was water color buttercream was so fun.

The bamboo backdrop was a fun accent.

I think Tucker's favorite part of his party was the panda adoption center.
I also made little panda favor boxes.

I loved the panda plates and cups. They are from my new favorite party supply store- Meri Meri.

And no party is complete without a balloon word wall....or something.

The kids all loved taking home their pandas and their favor boxes.

Tucker was so thrilled to have two of his friends from school come, Aashan and Ivy. And of course, Tucker's good friend Tommy Fuhriman came.

Tucker  loved the stuffed panda he got for his birthday and his matching sugar cookies.

At the end of the party, we sang and cut the cake. It was a cookies and cream cake on the inside and Tucker loved it.

After we finished opening presents, eating and playing the games I had planned, the kids all went outside to play with their pandas. Tucker made his a little bed and fort. It was pretty cute.

We had a great time with Tucker's friends, I think it was everything he had wanted.

After we cleaned up at the clubhouse, where we had his party, we went home and I threw together another little family party.  I sure love this cute boy.

Tomorrow, on Tucker's actual birthday we will be driving to Florida, so today,  before we leave,  I went to have lunch with Tuck at school and it was so fun. It's amazing getting to be back in the kids' schools again.

Happy Birthday to our sweet Tucker-doodle. We love you and your sweet soul.
Tucker loves art. He loves lego. He loves coloring pencils in every shade possible. He loves stuffed animals and he loves to organize things by color. He's happy most of the time. He's sensitive and empathetic. He's a sweet big brother and loves to play. He's recently mastered reading and is doing really well at school. We couldn't be more proud of this sweet boy.
Happy 8th Birthday Tucker!

Easter 2022

We just had a wonderful Easter weekend. It was just beautiful and the sacrament meeting was perfect.
We listened to beautiful musical numbers and testimony and it was just what my soul needed.
I'm so blessed to have these kiddos. And because my Savior lives, we get to be together forever.

We really enjoyed getting to have Easter with Nanny and Papa too. What a wonderful day!
We were able to take these cute pictures during the week, in between the days of rain. I love how they turned out.

These kids bring me so much joy.

My friend, April, had just bought baby chicks, so she let us use them for some pictures.

I just love all the different facial expressions.

I took individual pictures of each kid and it was so fun. They were loving snuggling the baby chicks.

I really love these kids in their Easter outfits too.

You might think that a 12-year boy would be too old for baby chicks. Turns out, no one is too old for baby chicks. They are too cute not to love.

Benson really loved his little chick. The chick kept pecking at his suspenders and it was so funny.

I can hardly believe its already Easter. Time is flying by this year but I'm grateful we were able to slow down today and enjoy our beautiful Easter Sunday
Happy Easter everyone!
