Fun at the Park

I cannot get over this amazing weather. For the last few days we have been in the low 70's and its just gorgeous. We spent the morning at "Horsebarn Park" and so did about every other kid in town. It was incredibly crowded. I had a hard time keeping track of my three kids because there were so many kids running everywhere all the time. But we all survived and the kids had a great time.
Bailey loves to slide. She would do this over and over again.
Because of the sheer volume of kids at the park, I didn't get Tucker out of his stroller very much. Luckily for me, Tucker is the happiest kid ever and was totally content chilling in the stroller and watching everyone else play.
Tanner is almost to that magical age where he can swing himself. I have to get him started on the swing but then he pumps his own legs and can keep himself swinging. SOOO nice.
It's really nice because Bailey is not to that point yet, even though she thinks she is, and I have to constantly help her swing.
Tanner also discovered the rock wall. He wasn't sure if he liked getting that high off the ground but I was proud of him for trying.
After a couple hours playing, we laid out our blanket and ate our picnic lunch. How cute are these kids in their sunglasses? Love them!
Once we finished eating lunch, we got the kids bikes out and went for a ride. They loved this part. I was a little stressed trying to keep everyone together because Tanner likes to ride ahead and Bailey was a little slow on the ziggle. But they had a blast.
Here are all three kids, about to go under the bridge.
Eventually we packed up to go home for naps. After naps though we went outside to play in the backyard. We did the stomp rocket and the kids loved that.
Tanner was of course, way into this activity.
Tucker and I enjoyed watching the kids from the blanket on the grass.
I love these three small people

It was a gorgeous afternoon and a great way to kill time until Dad got home.
May this weather keep up because we are loving it!

Fayetteville Family Fun

Today we at a family fun day. It's been way too long since we had a family day-outing and this day did not disappoint. We started out the day by going over to the "Walmart to-go" gas station and getting treats and drinks for the day.
Then we grabbed some lunch and drove down to Fayetteville for the day. It's about a 30 minute drive so we were there in no time. Our first stop was "Retrocade Arcadia". It's kind of like a "nicklecade" in that you pay a flat entrance fee and then you just play arcade games as long as you want. The kids were free, so it was pretty cheap. It was so fun.

Bailey loved the racing games.
Tanner loved finding "Fix-it Felix" and immediately recognized the characters from the movie "Wreck-it Ralph".
Daddy and Tanner had the most fun playing together. It was so cute.
Bailey got tired of the arcade games after about 40 minutes but she loved putting together the puzzles. This particular one was a "Barbie" puzzle so she was very excited about it.
Tucker loved the racing games because he loved holding onto the steering wheels.
All my little "gamers"
Tucker was so good the entire time.
Right before we left, Tanner and I found a "Spiderman" game and he was hooked. He loved it so much. I was surprised how quickly he figured out the controls.
After leaving the arcade we drove over to the dollar theater and watched "Box Trolls". I personally thought it was super weird, but the kids were into it. Well Tanner liked it, Bailey fell asleep and Tucker didn't care one way or the other.
We ended our day with delicious Mexican food from a local taqueria. So good.
The kids were so good the entire day and we had a wonderful time as a family.

Bailey is a Sunbeam!

Today was the first Sunday of the new year. So that means, Bailey is officially a "sunbeam".
I spent some time explaining the change to her, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to be sunbeam.
She really loved nursery, snack-time and her nursery leaders. But now she is officially too old for nursery and we are moving on. Well Bailey and about 18 other kids from our ward are moving on.
Here is a picture of my kiddos before church today. Tanner is now in the CTR 5 class and Bailey is a sunbeam. Tucker is just there because he is adorable.
Mommy and our new Sunbeam
She's such a big girl now.

I took Bailey and Tanner into the primary room and Tanner immediately went to sit with his friends. Once we figured out which row was hers, I sat Bailey down in her "big girl chair." She did really good. I gave her a big hug and told her to be a big girl.
Here is a picture right before leaving her in primary. It's really impressive that she's so happy considering our new ward meets at 1 pm and that's nap time. She is totally exhausted in this picture, but she was a champ.

More than one primary leader told me she did great  on her first day in primary. That was so nice to hear. So many of the other kids were screaming and crying. I was so proud of her for sitting in her chair like a big girl.
Can't believe my girl isn't in nursery anymore!
Love that Bailey Boo.

Happy New Year 2015!!!

We celebrated New Year's Eve in Mountain Home last night and it was so much fun. Each year I try to make New Year's Eve fun for our kids since they can't physically stay up past 9 pm. We party hard until 9 pm and then they pass out in their beds.
This year we had a glow-in-the-dark party.
The kids kind of loved it!
We had an insane amount of glow sticks but it was so worth it.
We had a pizza party to start the night.
Well a glow stick pizza party.
The kids flipped over the pizza. They loved it.

Then every hour we did a different activity.
The first thing we did was glow-in-the-dark balloons. These were so much fun.
In between each activity we would do lots of glow-in-the-dark dance parties.
We did glow stick hopscotch too.
Our next activity was glow stick prisms. These were super cool.
We had fun taking them apart too. They were like spider legs and the kids loved that.
Tucker was a big fan of the glowsticks too.

Aunt Laura helped keep the dance party going all night long.
Then we did glow stick ring toss.
And our final activity were these awesome glow stick glasses. I seriously loved the kids wearing these. I cracked up every time I saw one of the kids wearing a pair of these awesome glasses.
Chris was obviously thrilled to be wearing them in this picture.
Then we rang in the new year by Watching "King Julien's"  New Year's party. We also had some confetti poppers and blowers.
Happy New Year!

Oh and Tucker slept through all the loud popping and horns. Little guy was exhausted from partying so hard.
Then we popped open the sparkling cider. I don't know how my kids can drink so much of this stuff. The carbonation kills my throat and these kids just chug it down.

Love this man of mine!
We had such a fun little party with the family. We have been extremely blessed over the last year and I feel so grateful. I'm hoping we are just as blessed this year.
Happy New Year!
