School is starting in just a few more days and we are having alot of mixed feelings about it.
One of our favorite ways to ring in the new school year is back to school dates with each kid.
The kids always look forward to this too. It's so nice to get to spend some one -on- one time with each kid. It doesn't happen near enough.
This year, I got to take Tucker and Benson.
First, I took Tucker on his date and he decided he wanted to go to "Sushi House".
This kid loves sushi and we had fun ordering and eating together.
After dinner, Tucker wanted to go to the pool. He loves quality time and this was so fun.
We played and swam together for about an hour.
The pool was basically empty and we enjoyed it!

After the pool, we played at the playground for a bit while we dried off.
We had a great time and I still can't believe Tucker is entering 3rd grade. My little buddy is getting so big!
Chris got to take Bailey this year and they decided to go to "Cracker Barrel". This is place is a favorite for both of them.
True to Bailey form, while she waited for her food, she read her book.

But they both said their food was delicious and they had fun.
After dinner, Chris took her to "Barnes & Noble" to get a new book.
This is basically Bailey's love language and she loved it so much!

They followed up the bookstore with ice cream. It was probably the most perfect date Bailey could have imagined.
Another night I got to take Benson on a date.
This future kindergartner picked "Poke Bowl" for dinner and he was so happy with his huge portion of food.
This is the kid that I use to always share my poke bowl with. We would grab one after preschool occasionally and he would always eat all the seafood and leave me the seaweed and rice. He loves poke bowl so much.
Look at that serious eyebrow action.
After we ate, Benson wanted to get snow cones so we finished our date by going to our favorite snow cone place. This little cutie is so fun to be around.
We had a great time and went back home to watch some tv together.
Lastly, Tanner and Chris went on their back-to-school date. Tanner chose the Ramen bar for his dinner and they both loved it. The pictures make my mouth water- the food looks so delicious.
After they finished their dinner, they went to Cabela's to do some shopping and browse around.
They had a lot of fun together and stayed out quite a while hanging out together.
We had a great time spending time with our kiddos. I know it's going to be a great year.
I can't wait to see how the kids thrive!

Just a few more days and all four kids are off to school.
Wish us luck!
