End of School Craziness and Fun

School is winding and down and life is getting crazy. All the end of school stuff is starting to happen at once and Chris left after his birthday for his annual training so I'm doing all the fun end of school things alone. SO FUN!

But before Chris left, we got to attend Tanner's end of the year concert. 
Tanner changed instruments mid-year and really loved it. 
He plays the baritone now and has done really well with it. 

However, last night before his concert, he took all his vowels out to clean them and somehow put them back in wrong. So during the concert he struggled to get the notes out. 
At the end of the concert he was heartbroken. He hardly got to play and it was his final concert for middle great. Poor kid was so sad. 

Luckily, we talked him into giving us a private concert. I had recorded many of his songs on my phone and he played his part along with the band recording. It was so cute and I think he enjoyed getting to play just for us. 

We sure love this sweet boy!

Tucker is an awesome hype man for Tanner. Love them!

Another fun end of school activity was Benson getting to go to literacy night. 

Benson loved it. He loved getting to know his new school and getting to meet all the kindergarten teachers. He did great and he can't wait to go to "Tucker's school" next year. 

Actually, the morning after his literacy night, Benson asked me "Am I going to Tucker's school today?" and when I said no, he said "Well you know, I do go there now." 

It was pretty adorable but he was disappointed to learn that he didn't get to go to Kindergarten the very next day. 

One of our favorite end of school activities is "Fun and Field Day" and Tucker's did not disappointed. 

Tucker's fun and field day dawned on a beautiful sunny day and I had a great time watching him play with his friends. 

 

I loved getting to see him with all his little friends.

Tucker was thrilled to get a snow cone and it was a nice sunny day for it. 

The inflatables were a huge hit.

Tug-o-war was hilarious to watch. It was a four way tug-o-war and it was pretty well matched. Happily, Tucker's team won both rounds but they definitely had to work for it. 

I sure love this kid. He was so fun to watch and he had a great time. 

Sadly, for Tanner and Bailey, their fun and field day was moved indoors due to rain and parents couldn't attend so I don't have any pictures of theirs. But they enjoyed ice cream, inflatables and other fun. 

Now we are down to just a couple days of school and we are so happy about it! 
We can't wait for Summer vacation.
