It's funny how when you become parents so many things change. And a lot of times, things you wouldn't think would change do and it surprises you. Like birthdays. Now, Chris' birthday and my own birthday take backseat to daily life.
So even though we would love to take the day off and celebrate Daddy, we had to settle for Burgers at "Braums" before soccer practice and cake after soccer but before bedtime. The kids were fresh out of the tub and it was late, but we couldn't end the day without giving Daddy his presents and celebrating with some strawberry shortcake- with the berries we picked last week.
We love this guy and we are so grateful for him and all his hard work. He takes such good care of us and we love him more than words can say. Happy Birthday Daddy!
