We had a great month, full of fun and I can hardly believe its over. School starts in a couple days and that just seems crazy.
So here is what we did during the month of July.
We made these awesome reusable bubbles. They were so fun.
We had friends over for snow cones and slip-n-slide.
The kids loved their snow cones.
The following week we did face painting.
The next day we went to "Ihop" with our playgroup for their .57 cent pancake promotion. It was so crazy. There were 22 of us total and we rocked their world.
Tucker was a gem and loved eating pancakes at the table with us.
The following day we did a cheeto toss. This was hysterical. The kids each wore a shower cap that I covered in shaving cream. Then they took turns tossing cheetos at each other. We were all laughing. So fun.
Then we went to see "Tommy Terrific" at our local library. We saw him last year and loved it, this year was no different.
We had awesome front row seats.
I love this one of Bailey and Tanner. They were so funny.
The older two with the Terrific Tommy.
That Friday we had an indoor campout. Well first we grilled hot dogs and s'mores.
I love these kids and they loved their camp chairs.
After we ate, we set up the tent inside and let the kids watch a movie before falling asleep.
Tucker was so thrilled to be included.
The following week we started out by going to the pool.
We have been going to the pool about 3 days a week and its so nice.
The next day was our favorite "Chick-fil-a" day. It was the dress like a cow day and we did it up right. Aren't my little babies so cute as cows.
we got our free meals and thoroughly enjoyed them.
The next day we finally got to eat the rock candy we made. We started it 10 days earlier and the kids loved checking on our sugar growth each day. Finally on day 10, the kids got to eat their beloved rock candy.
The next day we made a tin foil river. We played with rubber ducks and sent them down the tin foil river over and over again.
That Friday we went to Erin's parent's house to swim. My kids love this pool. It has a diving board and Tanner loves that the water is blue. We had a great time.
The following week VBS started. Tanner was old enough to go this time so he got to go to VBS each day from 9-12. He loved it.
And while he was gone the first day, we went to get donuts with friends.
The following Tuesday we went to "Fast Lanes" to play with our friends for Tanner's buddy's birthday. They did go-carts and had so much fun.
Tanner really loved the "Star Wars" simulation game.
Tucker and Bailey had so much fun playing the alien stomp game.
These two little buddies make my heart happy.
Then we did foam paints the next day.
That Thursday we went to Sonic for their $1 hot dog day. The kids were big fans.
We went to Mtn. Home on Friday.
The following Monday we went to the pool with friends. Jessica brought her underwater phone case and we had so much fun taking pics of the kids.
Tucker also loved Jessica.
Underwater Tanner
Tossing Tanner in the air.
Tanner and Tommy became fast friends as Tucker fed him goldfish. So cute!
It was back to the pool the next day for more pool time with the Lowdens.
How cute are these girlies?
The next day was Tanner's kindergarten orientation. I got a sitter for the younger two and took Tanner to meet his teacher. Tanner was pretty thrilled with his new school.
Then on Thursday we went to pick corn. Tucker loved it. He loved walking up and down the corn field. So funny.
Tanner was so proud of the corn he found.
A group shot of all our kid friends who picked corn with us.
Seriously, have you ever seen a kid this happy while picking corn?
Bailey loved finding the long leaves and playing with them.
Shucked and ready to eat.
Me and the kiddos after we finished picking our corn.
Then we went home to have a movie party with friends. We watched "Home" and it was totally cute. The kids loved it and so did I.
We had white chocolate popcorn and made candy necklaces.
Bailey really loved hers.
Tanner was more into threading the candy than eating it.
On our last day of summer vacation we had a "Back to School Breakfast" for Tanner and his kindergarten friends. We invited three other little kindergartners over.
And one with the little sisters, of course.
Everyone loved the waffle bar and they played so well together. We had a blast.
I can hardly believe that school starts on Monday. So crazy. Our Summer is over and I can't figure out how it went by so fast.
