Bailey's Ballerina 4th Birthday

Monday was Bailey's birthday. We started off the day with birthday cake pancakes.
Bailey was pretty thrilled with the attention.

We ate a chickfila- bailey's choice- with some friends for lunch. And then after picking up Tanner from school, we called Mimi and opened her gifts from Mini and Grandpa. We saved the rest of the presents for her party with Nanny and Papa.

We had her actual party tonight. We had a small family party this year and she loved it. It was a ballerina themed party and Bailey loved getting to wear her ballet clothes. She looked so cute.  I was pretty much obsessed with the gold and pink color scheme. It was so beautiful together. Bailey loved all the pink- its her favorite color.
We had pink lemonade and water for drinks.
Then we had gold and pink cake pops. Well they were white with gold dust and pink. But they were sweet and yummy. I really love the gold foil place cards.
Her cake was the hardest part of the party. It was a rosette ombre cake.  She absolutely loved it. She woke up from her nap and saw all the pink and just started grinning. It took me a very long time to make it and get it decorated but it was totally worth it.
And Bailey loved the ballerina cake topper. It was a light gold glitter ballerina.
A few other little touches- this mannequin with the tutu and ballet slippers and the tassel banner. So fun. The gold and pink really did look gorgeous together.

Bailey loved her  ballet studio sign and all the gold and pink dots.
I really love how it came together and I how much Bailey loved it all!
Here are a few pictures of my birthday girl- isn't she a cute ballerina?
Standing in first position. The second pic is how Bailey kept trying pose for me? She kept slouching her shoulders forward and bending her knees. It was so funny.
She's starting ballet/tap again in two weeks and she's pretty excited. I sure love this cute little ballerina!
So glad she loved her party- she is my favorite girl ever!

We were so happy that Nanny and Papa could be there.
We grilled burgers and after we finished eating Bailey was ready for cake.
So we sang to her and then she made her wish. She took this job very seriously and concentrated very hard on making just the right wish.
And then she blew her candle out with all her might.
Then we cut into her cake so we could eat it. Bailey loved that the cake was pink on the inside too.
It was so fun to see her so excited about her cake.
Then it was time to open presents. Tanner graciously helped Bailey open her gifts. She didn't mind. Sometimes they are so cute together.
She got dress up clothes from both sets of grandparents, her brothers and from Mom and Dad. She was pretty thrilled. She also got some new Minnie Mouse pjs which we also loved.
Her dress up collection is now complete. She is one happy girl.

She had a great birthday and she was very happy with her gifts.
We love our birthday girl so much and we were happy to have the chance to celebrate her birth together.
