Mimi and Grandpa meet Tucker

We are so lucky to have grandparents that make an effort to visit. Chris' parents flew over from Oregon on Friday to spend some time with us and meet their newest grandson.
The kids were super excited to see Mimi and Grandpa. Mimi is so good about always bringing a surprise for the kids when she comes to visit. This time she brought Tanner a cute tractor/construction spoon. Tucker got some new clothes and Bailey got this slip. Unfortunately I cant convince her that it goes under her dresses- she wore it all day around the house like this.
Friday evening Deveney, Tucker and I ran to the store and got all the food for the weekend. When we got home we grilled a delicious steak dinner and enjoyed the beautiful weather by playing in the backyard.
Saturday was Chris' birthday. We had breakfast and then got everyone ready and drove over to the Bentonville Farmer's market. There were so many vendors it was a bit crazy.
Here are all three kids and I at the fountain in Downtown Bentonville. (On a side note, Tucker rode in the Ergo for the first time and loved it.)
After the Farmers Market we went over to the Walton 5 &10. Then it was over to the splash pad so the kids could run off some energy.
We are so happy this place is open again!

Then we grabbed lunch at "Five Guys" and came home for naps.
Saturday afternoon my parents drove over and that night we all went out to eat for Chris' Birthday.

Sunday was Tucker's Blessing and Mother's Day. After lunch my parents went home and then these tired boys decided it was nap time. Aren't they cute all napping on the couch together?
Grandpa and Tucker enjoyed lots of snuggles

Then on Monday we went to the Gentry Wilderness Drive Through Safari. It was so fun.
Bailey and Grandpa fed the goats and cow together.

This pot bellied pig was a big hit. He wasn't too aggressive and he ate everything the kids fed him. They liked that!

Love this boy
And he loved this peacock.
Tanner and his gorilla  and Bailey and her lion
Bailey loved feeding the baby goats but she refused to feed the big goats. They were too mean.
I have to say, the biggest highlight of the trip was getting to feed the giraffes. Tanner's favorite animal is a giraffe, so he was in heaven.
There were two giraffes in this pin and they were only babies. Isn't this giraffe sweet?

Bailey wasn't sure how she felt about feeding the giraffes.
Even Tucker and I got to pet them.

This is Larry the gorilla. He liked showing off for us.
Grandpa and Tanner examining the turtle.
It was so fun to spend this time with Mimi and Grandpa.
Oh and one of Tucker. This is how he spent most his time. Luckily, he loves being in the ergo.
Tuesday morning  Chris took Mimi and Grandpa to the airport. We had a wonderful visit and can't wait to see them again.
P.S. Isn't this picture adorable?
Come back anytime Mimi and Grandpa- your room is always open!
