Happiest of birthdays to our favorite guy. He makes our world go round and everything is better when he is home.
We celebrated with "Cronut Donuts" for breakfast. Coincidentally, Nanny and Papa were visiting this weekend, so they got to celebrate with us.
In true Chris fashion, he spent the morning working in the yard and helping Tanner work on the truck they are fixing up. It doesn't sound fun to me, but that stuff is right up his alley.
In the afternoon, we went to a graduation party for our friends, the Lowdens. Then it was home for a delicious dinner. Dad really wanted to grill out over the fire so we grilled hot dogs and made s'mores. Then we had lemon raspberry cake for dessert. Then it was time to open presents.
We love getting to spoil Dad and make him feel special. He's not usually one for a lot of fuss and fanciness. So we like to take advantage of any opportunity to show him how special he is.
Happy Birthday Chris! 46 looks good on you!
