Strawberry Picking & Fun in Fayetteville

This morning we decided to wake up early (well not me, just the kids) and head down to Fayetteville to pick some strawberries. Aunt Sarah went with her family last week and they found a super cute urban farm right in downtown Fayetteville. So she met us there and we had fun together.
Tucker took his job picking berries very very seriously. He only wanted the best berries.
He looked everywhere and grabbed the reddest most gorgeous berries.
Bailey picked her fair share too, but also enjoyed playing with her little cousin Hazel. She just adores her.

Tanner searched for the biggest berries he could find.

These little berry pickers did such a great job. We finished within 15 mins and it was so nice. We were able to get there, pick our berries and be done before it got too hot.
Oh and this cute boy was happy to gnaw on a berry and watch all the commotion around him.
The cousins really enjoyed looking at the baby chicks and hanging out together.
We really enjoyed this new little family farm. Reagan Family Farm- we will be back!

After picking berries we went over to "Wilson Park" with the cousins.
Somehow, after living here for 5 years, we'd never been to this park. It looks like a castle and the kids had so much fun playing together. It's not a big park but we played for about 45 mins before moving on to the other playgrounds.

After our morning adventures, we came home and ate lunch and then took naps. Then we made a delicious fruit pizza with our freshly picked strawberries.

The kids loved helping make the pizza and it was greatly enjoyed.
We are one week into the two weeks without Daddy and we are doing ok. After Tucker got over his strep and Tanner stopped throwing up, we started feeling better and we are doing much much better now. One week left! We can't wait to see Daddy!
