I can't believe how fast the school year is flying by. Our first two months here went a little slower because we were all home together all day every day and we tended to get bored. But once school started, the days started flying by.
Last week the kids had picture day and that same night was their open house.

The kids were so excited for their open house. They couldn't wait to show us around their school and classrooms.
Here is Tanner with his teacher, Ms. Lowe and Bailey with her teacher, Ms. Harrison.
Ms. Harrison is actually a long term sub, but she is the only teacher Bailey has had since school start. The actual teacher will be back in mid-November, but we will be back in Arkansas by then. So Ms. Harrison will be her teacher during her entire kindergarten experience in VA. Ms. Harrison is perfect for Bailey. She is the loving, gushing and tender type of person that Bailey needs. Bailey needs lots of attention and affection and she totally adores Ms. Harrison.

Tanner's teacher, Ms. Lowe, is perfect for him too. She's not the lovey-dovey type but she's kind and she strict. She connects with the kids on their level and makes them feel confident. I'm so grateful that both my kids have great teachers. They are thriving in school!
Then yesterday, I got to go to "Muffins with Mom" at their school. It was before school started and the kids were so excited that I got to come.
Tucker was also very happy to be included in the fun. He loves any reason to go inside their school.
Oh and we just got the kids' school pictures back and they did great. Love these cute kids and their sweet smiles.
We are going to miss their teachers but we are excited to go home to Arkansas and start our normal lives again with all our friends.
