Busch Gardens Hall-O-Scream

Busch Gardens has been on my bucket list for a while, but we visited so many other parks and attractions that Chris didn't think it was that important. But then I found a great groupon for the park and so we decided to go. It worked out nicely that we visited during "Hall-O-Scream" and so the park was all decked out for Halloween. We had a great time
We first visited sesame street land and rode "Prince Elmo's Spire". This was pretty cute. Tucker was big enough to ride this one and he loved that.

We also got to ride Oscar's spinning ride.

Then we rode the floating dragons. Well Bailey, Tucker and I rode them. Tanner told us he was too big for this ride. He's a pretty cool kid.

Then we walked over to Germany and ate lunch. The cafe we chose had entertainment too. So we got to watch a spooky Halloween show.
After that, we played at the swings. Bailey and Tucker rode the small ones while Chris took Tanner on the big ones.

Then the kids rode the red baron plane. Tanner was pretty excited about that one.

Then it was over to France to enjoy the enchanted land. Tucker was all about the carousel.
And then we played at the dragon playground for a while.

Then we rode the train around the park. These two snuggled almost the whole time. I just love these little buddies.
And then we rode the teacups. Tucker had to be sure his Panda bear rode the teacups with us too.

Our last stop was da vinci's flying machines. The kids loved these!

We snagged one picture in the spooky park before we made a run for the entrance.
See, at 6 pm the park fills with spooks and turns into a seriously scary place. We left at 5:45pm and started walking toward the entrance. However, it was super crowded that we didn't get out before all the scary people came out. They didn't bother us since we had such young kids, but Tanner was terrified. Tucker and Bailey just covered their faces in the stroller, but Tanner had to walk and he was ticked that we weren't running for our lives. Chris and I were having to hold back our laughter. Which probably makes us terrible parents. But it was pretty funny.
Oh my gosh, this picture cracks me up. I told the kids to show me how they were feeling and these are their "scared" faces. lol.

We finally made it to our car. Chris thought he would be funny and as we were pulling out he started to drive crazy and his the curb and told Tanner that we hit a zombie. But we didn't kill it so we had to outrun it. So then he started swerving. The kids were freaking out and screaming. It was so terrible/funny. By the time we hit the freeway, we were safe but Tanner was unconvinced. When we made it back to base he asked "Zombies can't come on base right?" and Chris told him " No. We are safe. There is gate all the way around the base and zombies don't have military IDs so they can't make it through security." Bahahaha. But this made Tanner feel safe enough to sleep that night, so I guess it worked.
We had a blast at Busch Gardens but I don't think Tanner or Bailey will want to go back again anytime soon- at least not during the month of October.
