Bailey's Royal 5th Birthday

Before leaving Arkansas, we got to celebrate our sweet princess Bailey with a fun, royal event.
Bailey wanted a princess party this year and since the 5th birthday is a big party year, we got to do it up right. So much fun. We invited her little friends in person and hand delivered these beautiful invitations. She dressed up in one of her favorite princess dresses and we did her hair and then we delivered the invitations all around town to her little friends. We invited 7 other little princess friends.  She loved it!
On July 1st, we had her party and it was so much fun!
I had a great time making all the special finishing touches and details to make this party special for my sweet girl. She may forever by my only girl, so I am glad I get to celebrate in a super girly way with her. She's so much fun!
The princess food table set-up

We served princess popcorn, crown PB&J sandwiches
Royal Palace Parfaits, cupcakes
Carriage Wheel Cookies- these were homemade macaroons and everyone loved them It took so long to make them but they turned out pretty cute.
Oh and we had fairy godmother fruit wands.
Bailey and her friends gushed over all the food and it was so cute.

For her cake I made a two layer gold and pink cake. Bailey lost her mind over this and it was so fun to see her reaction.
Next to the food table I set up the drink and favor table.
We served princess punch and water.
Inside the little pink pouches were lip gloss, stickers and candy bracelets.

Here were the table settings

I think one of my favorite finishing touches were the gold flower carriages.
 Aren't they cute?

So the first thing we did after everyone arrived was "royal makeovers".
All the princess visited the royal beauty parlor and if they weren't wearing a princess dress already, they picked out a dress. Then I had a couple of fairy godmothers help me give the girls their makeovers. Aunt Sarah and Stephanie Lanoy helped me and they were great.
We did hair and makeup and the girls loved it!

Oh and each girl got a candy necklace and a magic mirror to take home.
We also painted their nails. It was so cute. The girls loved the royal treatment.

Then each of the girls made their own fairy godmother wand. They really got into this. They colored, bedazzled and glittered the wands. It was pretty sweet.

Here is the royal line up. These are 7 of Bailey's closest friends and they all looked adorable.
From left to Right we have: Addi Caresia, Audrey Brockmeyer, Chloe Caresia, Annalise Fuhriman, Bailey, Charlie Wentworth, Brooklyn Pearson and Karina Fuhriman. Aren't they the most adorable princesses ever???
And my sweet 5 year old princess. I just love her!
Then the girls ate. They got to pick out which foods they wanted and they loved it. So many sweet laughs and giggles.

After their royal meal, we played the last game- "Kiss the frog". The girls had to try to pin the lips on the frog. It was so funny. I loved how they looked in the little princess sleep mask.

After the game, Bailey gave me the biggest hug and thanked me for the awesome party. She was so happy and it made my heart happy.
Then we opened presents. Daddy brought the boys to the party for the food and presents portion. The rest was a bit too girly for them. But we enjoyed watching Bailey open her gifts.
The boys, of course, also arrived in the royal apparel. So cute!

One of Bailey's little friends gave her a "BFF" necklace. Her friend Chloe was explaining it to Bailey and their reactions were so cute. I just love little friends!
Aren't they the sweetest?
Of course, Nanny and Papa made an appearance and Aunt Sarah helped out as one of my Fairy Godmothers.
After presents, we served the cake. Bailey was so in love with her cake and kept thanking me for making it for her.

Here she is blowing out her candle.
I love catching these sweet moments between Bailey and her Dad.
We had a great time celebrating Bailey and she loved her party so much!

So that was back in July before we moved to Virginia. Today is her actual birthday.
Since we are living in a hotel and we don't really have any friends here, we just celebrated as a family.
We spent the day doing fun stuff. We went to the theater to see one of the cheap summer kid series movies.
Then it was over to "Baskin Robins" for her free birthday scoop.

We also picked up her birthday cake while we were there.
That night, after Daddy got home from school, we had a small little party.
We had burgers from the cafeteria (it was perfect because Bailey loves burgers) and then she opened her presents and we ate her princess ice cream cake.

It was a quiet little party after her royal affair in Arkansas, but it was fun. She loved the attention.
I can hardly believe this girl is 5 years old. She so much fun. I will always be grateful for this sweet girl who rocked our world and demanded the world fall in love with her. We all happily obliged and here we are 5 years later. She's my favorite girl and we just love her so much. Happy Birthday Sweet Bailey Boo!
