Allreds in Arkansas

My sister Sarah and her family got to fly over from Utah for a visit last week and it was so fun. We only get to see her about once a year, so its always a treat. Sarah and her husband Johnny have a little boy, Max, who is almost one and is a complete delight. My kids absolutely adored their little cousin.
Sarah and Johnny drove over from Mtn. Home on Tuesday and got in around nap time. After naps we decided to go try out the neighborhood pool. We hadn't been to the pool since it opened and the kids were so excited. It was even more fun because Aunt Sarah, Uncle Johnny and Max were there to play with us.
Tanner, of course, loved playing with the squirt guns.
And he loved showing off his swimming skills
Bailey was pretty smitten with her Uncle Johnny.
How cute is this little Momma? My sister is the cutest little mommy and that boy isn't too bad either!
Both my kids loved Aunt Sarah. She's so fun!

Oh and the kids were thrilled to get to wear their new goggles. Don't you just love little goggle faces?

I mostly took care of Tucker, but I got to play a little. I'm a little worried how I will handle all three kids without any help, but this was a great first trip to the pool thanks to Aunt Sarah and Uncle Johnny.
After the pool, we came back to the house and changed into dry clothes. Then we loaded up and drove over to "The Station" in Bentonville for some delicious burgers.
Tanner requested that Aunt Sarah sit next to him. He kept trying to hold her hand, share his burger and just give her loves. He was so happy to see her. It was pretty adorable.
After our burgers, we walked over to the walmart cafe for ice cream. We couldn't resist playing on the "Sam Walton Truck" outside the "5 & 10"

Little cousins having ice cream together. Don't you love the hats?
The next day (Wednesday) we hung out at home during the morning. The kids had a tea party with Aunt Sarah. It was kind of a big hit.

And Aunt Sarah got lots of Tucker snuggles. It's so fun that she was able to come while Tucker is still young. I was able to visit her after Max was born. He was one month old when I met him for the first time and Tucker is one month now.
Wednesday afternoon we went to the Rogers Aquatic Center. It's such a fun place. We were excited to go back and play with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Johnny.
Tucker just slept for the most part. But Max, Tanner and Bailey had fun.
Swimming in the kids pool. Tanner had to wear his goggles the whole time and they were usually on upside-down.

Playing with Aunt Sarah
Tanner rocking the slide and Bailey loved splashing on the side of the pool
Sarah and Johnny watched Bailey and Tuck while I took Tanner over to the big kid pool so we could play together. Tanner has learned a lot in his swim lessons and he couldn't wait to show me. It was so fun to play and watch him swim.
Thanks to Aunt Sarah and Uncle Johnny, we got to visit the aquatic center again. I wouldn't have even tried to go on my own, so we were happy to have the help.
After the aquatic center we met Chris at Aaron and Stephanie's house for dinner. Steph made pizza and we all got to visit and hang out. It was fun.

Thursday morning it rained so we just hung out at home. That afternoon we headed over to the splash pad to play. Tanner did his normal "run around the perimeter" of the splash pad over and over again.
And Bailey just played with the same sprinkler the entire time.
Tanner found some friends and got to play with their squirt gun. He was in heaven.
Then we took a break and got snow cones.

Oh these kids love their cousin Max.

We picked up pizza on the way home and ate dinner with Chris at home. Then Max got to experience his first "cousins" bath. I love this picture so much. Max's face cracks me up.

After the kids went to bed, Sarah and I went out for a "Mommy's night out". It was completely awesome. I miss hanging out with this girl and we had so much fun together. We tried to see "Mom's night out" but first we went to the wrong theater (Thanks Siri. Stupid phone) and then we went to the right theater but they didn't have a late show (again, thanks Siri). So we ended up going back to the first theater and seeing "The Other Woman". We may have laughed really hard and ate way too much junk food.

Friday morning we headed over downtown Bentonville. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Johnny wanted to see the Wal-mart museum. It was fun and the kids loved getting to buy some taffy at the "5 & 10"
Friday afternoon we drove over to Mtn. Home for the weekend. Sarah and Johnny came over too.
So we had all the grand kids in one place. We were missing Uncle David and Aunt Laura, but it was fun to see all the babes together.
Saturday morning in Mtn. Home we went to the fishing derby over at the fish hatchery.
Bailey really wanted to catch a fish. She was frustrated the fish didn't immediately bite.

Tanner had fun but because the fish weren't biting and the kids were getting frustrated, we decided to leave.
So we packed up our stuff and headed over the the river to play and fish.
I love this picture of Tanner carrying the tackle box.  He looks so big.

We had fun at the river. We took Bailey's shorts off in an attempt to keep some of her clothes dry.  She has a tendency to get completely soaked in freezing cold rivers.

Tanner tried fishing again at the river.

I snapped this little gem while the kids were playing. Tucker is such a champ. I love this kid.

It was a great morning spent at the river with family. We had fun!

Then Saturday evening we tried really hard to get a picture of all the grand kids together. It was kind of a disaster. Getting six kids, (ages 4 and under) to look at the camera is hard enough, but it's even harder to get them all to smile.
This was our best one. It makes me laugh so hard.

Anyways, we went to church on Sunday and then came home for lunch and naps.
We let the kids play after naps until dinner. We had one last dinner together and then we loaded up and drove home.
It was hard to say good bye to my sister and her sweet family. I don't know when we will get to see them again so that made it even harder. We had a great visit though and we are so happy they got to come out to Arkansas.
