Bailey has "tea" with Miss Arkansas

Today I took Bailey to her first "tea party". It was just about the cutest thing ever. Our library hosted it and Miss Arkansas was there. She was just vote "Miss Congeniality" at this year's "Miss America" pageant and she was such a sweet girl. Even though Bailey was the youngest girl there, it was so fun to take her and spend time with her.
We sat down at our table across from another sweet mom and her almost 3 year old daughter. We became fast friends and chatted over mini cheesecakes and tarts.
We even had real teapots and princess cups.
Bailey being such a lady as she devours her cookies and truffles. We have to work on our "tea party" manners.

She loved sitting in her own chair and picking out sweets off the desert tray.
Sipping lemonade from her tea cup. I loved watching her hold her cup by the handle. It was so cute.
Yes Bailey, that is the correct way to drink from a cup, put your entire face inside the cup.
Bailey and I pouring our "tea", which was really just lemonade.

Right before Bailey grabbed the cup and dumped it all over us...so awesome.
The little girl we sat across from was incredibly cute and so sweet to Bailey. She even shared her teddy bear "Talky" with Bailey.

Each girl went home with a princess tea cup and a tea pot shaped sucker. Seriously, Bailey was in heaven!
And then at the end of the Tea Party, each girl had her picture taken with "Miss Arkansas" and got to wear a tiara. It was pretty cute.
While we ate, Miss Arkansas spoke to all the girls and then she sent each girl whom with her "autograph"
Although my baby girl will probably never enter any beauty pageants, it was fun to hear from "Miss Arkansas". It was really interesting to hear her story and her faith. She spoke about how her faith in God determined her actions and guided her daily life. It was very reassuring to see good role models out there, especially in the world we live in today.
Anyways, I had a great time getting all dressed up, drinking "tea" with my baby girl and eating cute little "tea party" food.
LOVE LOVE LOVE having a little girl so we can do this sort of stuff together!
