Drake Family Florida Vacation- Part 4- Magic Kingdom Day 2

Our final day at Disney World was spent at Magic Kingdom. This was mostly a character meet day, but we squeezed in some fun rides as well. Aunt Sarah, Uncle Johnny and their family came too.
We rode the monorail over from the parking lot and that was probably the highlight of Tucker's day. He was so happy to be on the "choo choo". It was so funny. He was flipping out.
After arriving at the park, we walked directly over to "Fairytale Hall" and Chris and the boys got in line to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella.
Bailey and I walked around the back of the building to this little alcove to meet Merida. The line for Merida wasn't very long and  before we knew it, Bailey was hugging Merida and getting her autograph. This was probably my favorite character interaction. Merida was so cute with Bailey. They talked and laughed together. Merida showed Bailey how to hold a bow and they pretended to shoot arrows. It was precious.

Then we met back up with Chris and the boys in the line for Rapunzel and Cinderella.
They were at the front of the line and so we walked right up and waited for our turn with them. It was perfect timing.
Since Bailey had met Cinderella the day before at lunch, she decided she didn't want to meet her again. However, Tanner decided to conquer his shyness and stepped up to meet Cinderella without hesitation. It was pretty cute.
Then we got to meet Rapunzel. This was another cute interaction. After signing the kid's autograph books, Bailey ran over and started chatting with her. Then she threw her arms around Rapunzel's waist and hugged her so tight.
It was pretty precious.
Tanner also decided he wanted to meet Rapunzel and went up to talk with her and get his picture taken.
After meeting those sweet princesses we walked right on to "Prince Charming's carousel".
It was so cute. Chris took the kids so I could take pictures. Tanner was a champ and whenever the carousel came around he would smile so cute at me.

When Tucker spotted me taking pictures, he got super shy and coy. It was kind of adorable.
This boy though, He was my picture champ!
After riding the carousel, we walked over and met Tiana. This line wasn't long either and it was so pretty. The location was perfect and Tiana looked beautiful in her green dress.
Both Tanner and Bailey wanted to meet her.
Bailey had to give her a hug!
And although Tanner wouldn't hug her, he did stand pretty close- which is a big move for my little man.
After meeting Tiana, we walked back over to Fantasy land and watched "Mickey Philharmagic". We met Aunt Sarah and her family there so we could all hang out and relax together.
It was probably my favorite attraction of the day. It was so cute and it was inside with air conditioning so it was a great break for the kids.
During this 3D show, Donald puts on Mickey's hat and attempts to conduct the orchestra. However, the hat flies off his head and Donald chases it through portals into different movie scenes.
One of my friends had told me about this show and given me little jewels to give the kids during a certain part of the show. She had warned me that during the Little Mermaid segment, Ariel throws jewels into the audience and it looks like they will hit you with the 3D magic. So during this part, both Chris and I pretended to catch the jewels and then handed the real jewels we had brought with us to our astounded children. They were literally in shock. They thought we had real magic. It was so cute. We loved this show!
After watching this show, we walked over to "Town Square Theater" to meet Tinkerbell.
This was another super cute character interaction. But not because of Tanner or Bailey.
This was so cute because Tucker actually wanted to meet Tink. He walked over to her and attempted to give her the green jewel we had given him during "Mickey's Philharmagic". I guess he figured the jewel was green, Tink like green- she should have the jewel. And he gave her a hug. It was so cute!

Tanner and Bailey were also super excited to meet Tinkerbell.
They really loved Tinkerbell's home. It was designed like Fairy Hollow and it was precious.
In order to enter we had to say "Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust" and the room lit up and the door opened. it was pretty magical.

We left Tinkerbell and let the kids pick out some souvenirs. We gave each of the kids a gift card that they could use at Disney World and they got to spend it on whatever they wanted. Bailey picked out a princess jewelry box and a princess wand. Tanner had spent most of his money at Hollywood studios, but he had a little left and he bought a toy "X-Wing". Then Tucker bought a toy sword and a Mickey Mouse remote controlled train. It was so cute to watch each kid find something special.
Then we ate lunch and watched the tail end of the fantasy parade. It was so cool.

Then we met up with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Johnny and their kids to go meet Mickey Mouse at "Town Square Theater". This is the only Mickey that actually talks. We had fast passes for this character meet and it was so cute.
Bailey immediately asked for his autograph. She was totally obsessed with her autograph book.
Family pic with Mickey.

Tanner also wanted to get a picture with Mickey. Mickey Mouse was talking the whole time, but Tanner was too shy to answer. It was so cute though.
Surprisingly, Bailey didn't want a picture with Mickey. She was a little too shy for this character meet. Tucker also didn't want to meet Mickey alone, but he did allow me to hold him while he had his picture taken with Mickey.

Then we got a group picture with Aunt Sarah's family. So fun!
After meeting Mickey, Aunt Sarah and her family headed back to the condo. We stayed so we could meet Aladdin and Jasmine. We walked over and got in line for this character meet.
It was pretty hot so while we waited, we enjoyed frozen lemonades.
Then it was our turn to meet Aladdin and Jasmine.
While they signed autograph books, Tanner chatted with Aladdin.
Tucker decided he was too shy to meet Aladdin and he hid. It was so cute though, Aladdin wasn't phased at all and simply said "Don't worry. Magic carpet was shy at first too, but I won him over."
Eventually Tucker came out and watched the interaction next to me.
Aren't they great?

Bailey loved matching Jasmine. And it was so cute to see them talking.
Tanner also enjoyed talking with Jasmine but the main bonding went on between him and Aladdin.
After meeting Aladdin and Jasmine, we used our last fast passes and rode "Aladdin's Magic Carpet"
(Notice that blue towel around Chris' neck? Those cooling towels saved us on our hot days at the parks. They were seriously life savers!)

And that was it. We left the park at 4 pm and went back to the condo.
Our Disney trip was officially over and I have to say- it was completely awesome. I know the insane OCD planning that I did helped, but the kids and Chris were also awesome. There were no fits or tantrums at all the first two days. The third day wasn't as perfect, but the only fits were over who got to ride in the stroller. The kids never begged for toys or treats. They were so good. It was such a fun trip! I can't wait to go back when the kids are a little older and can ride more of the big rides. Tanner was big enough for almost everything, but Tucker and Bailey weren't.
Things that I learned from this trip: Book our next trip in February or October- during the off season. Memory Maker is awesome and totally worth the price. Planning is totally worth it. Fast passes and stroller passes are invaluable and should be planned carefully to take advantage of times with longest lines. We never waited in really long lines. All of our fast passes were used and worked out perfect. We met tons of characters, which my kids loved.
All-in-all, it was an awesome trip. SOOO fun!

After getting back to the condo, I changed my clothes and hopped in the car with Aunt Sarah. We drove over to the Orlando Temple where we met up with Nanny, Papa and Aunt Laura.
Aunt Laura went through for her own endowment and it was a special night.
I really enjoyed the spirit of the temple and being able to watch my youngest sister take this big step in her life. She's such a great girl and I'm so proud of her.
I just love these people!
We then went out to dinner at Ihop- it was near 10 pm and we were all starving. It was such a fun dinner. We laughed and chatted and enjoyed our kid free time.
Then it was back to the hotel so we could all get some rest.
After three days at Disney World, I was completely exhausted.
Stay tuned for our pool/recovery day fun.
