Last week Bailey had her dress rehearsal and it was totally adorable. It got me so excited and a little nervous for her recital.

Then tonight we got to go see Bailey perform at her dance recital. It was even more awesome than her rehearsal. She did so great. The tap number was "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and Bailey put every bit of her sass and attitude into this number. It was awesome.
After the tap number, the girls went backstage as a class and hung out in one of the classrooms until it was time to perform their ballet number. This dance was done to the song "A Spoonful for Sugar" from Mary Poppins and it was every bit as sweet and cute as you would expect.

She was trying so hard to do her dance perfectly. It was adorable.
She did such a great job and we are so proud of her.
She had me worried because the week leading up to the recital she didn't want to practice at all. She kept telling me "I know my dance. I only practice it at dance class" So I wasn't sure if she really knew her dance very well, but she proved herself and did such a great job.
Stephanie and Blake came to watch the recital too, which was so sweet. Blake even brought her flowers, which thrilled Bailey beyond anything.
Bailey and Chloe needed a picture taken together. They both rocked the dances and we are very proud. Sweet sweet friends.
Bailey was also thrilled to discover that Daddy brought her flowers as well. She loves getting flowers and loved holding them.
This girl made us so proud. She was so great!
Great work tonight Bailey Boo! We sure love our little ballerina!
