During this last week we have had so much fun and we've been keeping ourselves busy.
It's so weird to not be in school and not have our typical end of school craziness going on, but we have been making the most of it.

We made each of the kids' teachers a balloon garland to hang over their doors.
This is definitely not our typical teacher appreciation gift, but it was memorable.
The kids loved getting to see where their teachers live.

We also hung signs and gift cards on their doors. It was so fun.
Later we celebrated our two "grads" with a little party.
Normally right now we would be attending a 4th grade graduation and a kindy graduation. But those were of course cancelled, along with everything else this year. We again did our best to make the best of it and celebrated at home.

We had chocolate graduation caps and diploma cookies.
And some fizz to celebrate.
The boys loved it. I definitely miss the musical programs but this was pretty great too!
I also hung a balloon garland to celebrate and I got to order Tanner a 4th grade graduate sign for a local company. Tanner thought that was pretty cool.
At the end of the week, Tanner's teacher, Mrs. Wood, came by to give him his 4th grade diploma. It was so cute. She was in full cap and gown and when we opened our front door she yelled "Congratulations! It's graduation day! You've successfully completed fourth grade!"
We loved Tanner's teacher this year and we were so sad to see our year with her get cut short. But she was amazing throughout the digital school year too and we are so grateful.
We also got to visit Tucker's teacher to say good-bye. Tucker was so shy but it was fun to get one last hung, (even though technically we weren't supposed to. It was too hard not to and Tucker loved his teacher.)
Then one day while we were watching the Allred kids, so Aunt Sarah and Uncle Johnny could pack, we had our own field day in the backyard. It was so crazy but the kids loved it.
We had a water balloon/ towel relay first. The kids paired up and it was hysterical to watch.

Then we did the ball passing game where you pass the ball under your chin to the person behind you.
I was laughing so hard at this. The kids were laughing too. It was awesome.

Next up was the water balloon on a spoon relay.
Then a three-legged race.
And we ended the field day with a water balloon fight.
We had a great time playing with the cousins and a great week enjoying the last week of school.
This weekend we are heading to Mtn. Home for memorial day fun with all the cousins. We can hardly wait! Stay tuned for our final day of digital school and memorial day.
