We started off the month by picking peaches with our Fuhriman friends. Sadly, most of the peaches weren't ripe and right before we finished it started pouring rain. I mean it was pouring!!
But before the rains came down, I was able to snap a few pictures.
Benson really enjoyed filling his bucket with the peaches that had fallen to the ground and throwing them all over again.
We came home with exactly one ripe peach, but we still had a lot of fun.
The best part was getting to hang out with our friends.
These two crazy boys are the cutest besties.
But they are seriously crazy kids.
Look at those faces! I'm dying.
Then on Monday we went to Lake Avalon with the Allred cousins. It was their first time and they loved it. We always have a great time but it was even more fun with cousins.
That night we decided to have an indoor camp out. The kids wanted to sleep in the backyard but it started raining, so we moved the tent inside. The kids loved it.
Then on Wednesday we were invited to join the Allreds at the Prairie Grove Aquatic Center.
It was so much fun. We played so hard. Benson loved the slides
Tucker was a little heartbroken that he was too short for the big slides, but we made the most of it with the smaller slides. He still had a great time. But hopefully next summer he will be tall enough to ride the bigger slides.
Bailey rode all the slides and really loved the diving boards.
Then the kids all enjoyed some Popsicle and ice cream bars together. They are so cute.
Seriously- look at these cutie splashing babes. I love them all so much!
Thursday night Chris and I finally got to go the Alan Jackson concert we had bought tickets for almost two years previously.
Right before our original concert date, Alan Jackson's son-in-law passed away so he cancelled his tour. But this year he went back on tour, so we were able to go and it was so fun.
We went to dinner first at five guys, then ran by the dollar tree to get some ponchos because there was a significant chance of thunderstorms.
Then we found our seats and not 20 minutes into the concert, it started to pour. I mean it was pouring and the rain was coming down sideways under the awning. I was so grateful that we had our ponchos. We threw them on and stayed mostly dry.

It was such a great concert. Chris knows every Alan Jackson concert and this was more for him than for me, but we both ended up having a wonderful time.
Then on Friday after work, we went to the Benton county fair.
The kids had so much fun riding rides. It wasn't too hot and that was such a blessing.

Tanner and Bailey immediately wanted to ride the hang-gliders. They loved it.
Then all three big kids rode "Gravitron". They rode this one last year and loved it and they couldn't wait to ride it again. They came off the ride laughing so hard. They loved it.
He pointed to the one he wanted and Daddy took him over to ride it.
You may not believe it from this picture, but he actually loved the dinosaur ride.
See? He loved it!
He was pretty thrilled when he realized his blue dinosaur was flying and rising higher into the air.
He was so happy.
He was so happy.
Then Tucker and Benson rode the motorcycles together.
The big kids also enjoyed riding the "Jungle Twist" ride. They were spinning so fast and laughing so hard. I love watching these kids try new things together.
Benson rode the classic cars while the big kids rode the "Jungle Twist" ride.
Then we finished the evening at the carousel. Benson really loved it. It was pretty cute.
I love summer nights spent at the county fair. These visits never get old.
After we spent all our tickets, we headed over to the 4-H exhibit to see the baby chicks.
This is always a fair favorite.
This is always a fair favorite.
Chris had to help Benson with the chicks and teach him how to be soft. But Benson loved it.
Benson loved the corn box more than the chicks though.
Then we grabbed some cheeseburgers on the way home and enjoyed the rest of our evening at home.
I can hardly believe school starts tomorrow. Summer vacation is officially over!
Wish us luck!
