Bailey's Mermaid 7th Birthday

We celebrated Bailey's 7th birthday over the course of 3 days.
We met Daddy for lunch at a Mexican food restaurant and got Bailey her favorite dish (bean burrito with queso) and then she got to wear the birthday sombrero. She loved that.   

We sure love our birthday girl!

Then on the day of her birthday, we invited a bunch of Bailey's friends to the pool to celebrate with cupcakes and juice. She loved this and had the best time playing. Look at all these girls!

Then on Saturday we had the family over for Bailey's birthday party. 

This year she wanted a mermaid party and it was so fun.
I love how it all came together and so did the birthday girl. 

Look at these smiles! She was in heaven with her Mermaid party.

We served "ocean water"

 

"Mermaid krispy treats"

and oyster cookies.

This cake took me hours but it was my first attempt at the fondant dot cake and I like how it turned out. Bailey loved her mermaid scale cake. 

Bailey was so thrilled and kept giving me hugs and telling me thank you. 

After everyone had eaten, Bailey opened her presents. She got so many dolls and "Polly Pockets". She was thrilled. It was pretty cute to watch. 

Then we decided to cut the cake and sing to Bailey. 

The inside of the cake was a mermaid themed ombre. Bailey loved this little surprise.

It was such a fun party and we had a great time celebrating our favorite girl!
