We celebrated our favorite toddler today with a "Thomas the Train" themed party. Tucker turned two yesterday and we waited to have his party so Nanny and Papa could join us. Aaron & Stephanie and their boys came over too. Tucker lost his mind with excitement over his party. He loved all the trains everywhere and kept yelling "whoo whoo" excitedly. It was hysterical. For some reason Tucker has decided to call trains "whoo whoos" instead of "choo choos". We are just rolling with it.
Here was the party set up.
Tucker basically lives and breathes "Thomas the train" all day long. Every day.
He plays on his wooden train set, he drives push and go trains on the carpet, he watches Thomas on TV and we read train themed books. It's a bit crazy. But it made picking a theme for his party very easy.

Since it was a small party year, so we just did cake, cupcakes & marshmallow pops.
Tucker loved all the cupcake toppers.
Tucker loved all the cupcake toppers.
But Tucker's favorite thing was his cake. He absolutely loved his Thomas cake.
We also had a small drink table- just water and punch.
Daddy grilled everyone hot dogs and brats. So yummy.
Then we opened presents. Tucker was completely thrilled with his gifts because they were all train related. He was in "whoo whoo" heaven.
This train track was the biggest hit, even the adults enjoyed it.
We eventually got around to singing to Tucker, although he was way to interested in playing to actually eat. He did enjoy holding his cake and blowing out his candle.
We waited until Sunday to actually eat the cake, because we couldn't tear Tucker away from all his train toys. He loved his party and gifts so much.
We did grab one family picture. Bailey had already changed into her pj's for the night, but I'll take what I can get.
We sure love our crazy little two year old. He is a joy of a child and I can't imagine our family without him. Happy 2nd Birthday Tucker-duck!
