We had the best time celebrating our sweet Tanner boy. He turned 16 last week and today we threw him a "Rockin' 16th Birthday". It was so fun and Tanner loved it.
On his actual birthday we celebrated at home with an "uncle Johnny sandwich" and pineapple upside down cake.
We had lots of "rock & roll" themed treats and his band even performed at his party. He loved having his friends over to party with and it was such a great night.
Tanner is part of band called "The Chrees" and they have a great time playing together. Usually they play at "The Meteor" in downtown Bentonville. But they came to play at Tanner's party.
I sure love this kid. He's such a good boy and for the most part- he's pretty chill.
We are excited for him to get his license in a few months and gain a little freedom. I'm nervous but he's such a cautious driver- I think he will be great.
I didn't get a picture before the rest of his friends left, but I got a picture of these four.
I'm grateful Tanner is growing and catching up to his friends a bit in height. It's such a good confidence boost for him.
