Allred Visit Part 1- The Allreds Visit NWA

So just a couple days after our Herb cousins left to fly back to Oregon, our Allred cousins drove in. We are so happy to have more cousin time.
They got in mid afternoon and after eating dinner together, we drove over to my friend, April's house to hunt for fireflies. April always tells me how many fireflies she sees on their property. Sadly, on our night there, the fireflies were few and far between.
We caught some, but not as many as they usually have there.

The next morning we went to the the Rogers Aquatic Center to play. We had such a great time with our Herb cousins, that we decided to go back.

Again, we took lunch with us to the park and after we were exhausted we left to drive home.
We had to stop for snow cones again though. So we did that and then went home to rest and and make dinner.  We enjoyed just getting to chill together at night and watching the kids get lots of cousin time.

The next day we went to Blue Hole to swim and explore. We brought our tubes to float as well.

These cuties loved making little tube trains and drifting around each other.

The kids had fun digging little pools and putting crawdads and tadpoles in them too.

Bailey and Tanner did some bluff jumping too. They are so brave. Aunt Sarah joined them for one jump but that was all she could do. It was too scary.

I'm so grateful for some sister time! It's my favorite!

After Blue Hole Springs, we drove over to Braum's to get cheeseburgers and ice cream cones.
Nothing beats ice cream cones on a hot summer day.
When we got home, we let the kids take bubble baths.
This is Grant's favorite thing about my house. So whenever he comes over, I make sure that he gets atleast one bubble bath in the jacuzzi tub.

Then it was time for dinner and bed.
The next morning, the Allreds left to drive to Mtn. Home.
We followed a few days later and that half of their trip is forthcoming. We've been so lucky to have so much fun cousin time.
