It's December 1st and that means two things at our house: It's our light the world kickoff and we welcome our elves back. It's a very exciting day and the kids look forward to it every year.
Over the years, I've gotten smarter and started combining the the two. So our Elf on the Shelf Welcome back breakfast was also themed around "Light the World".
We called it "Be Merry and Light the World" instead of "Be Merry and Bright"

We had lots of treats and it was full of sugar and totally delicious!
We had cupcakes, donuts, and Christmas tree cakes.
I sure love these kiddos. They make the holidays so much more fun.
The kids were thrilled to see their elves again. I cant wait to find ways to serve this holiday season. The light the world calendar published by the church is full of great ideas and they are simple.
We are excited to be more like our Savior and to serve more!
So welcome back to the elves and lets get ready to LIGHT THE WORLD!
