This cute boy was selected by his teacher to be "Student of the Week" and he was so shy and embarrassed by it. I was cracking up. I've never had a child shy away from the spotlight. Both Tanner and Bailey don't mind attention and often time seek attention. So to have a kid who never wants the spotlight on him and shies away from too many eyes being on him, it's very strange and foreign to me. He was surprised when his name was announced but he stood up and was brave while he waited to receive his "SOW" spirit stick.
Here he is getting his spirit stick from the helper student. After he got it he immediately sat back down and didn't look up. lol. He's so shy.
I had to snag a picture with him after wards though. Benson and I sure love getting to go to these types of assemblies and be present for these small things!
We love our Tucker-doodle and we are so proud of him and all the progress he's making in Kindergarten. He loves school. He loves his teacher. He's learning and is so well behaved at school.
We are grateful for his calming influence in our home.
