Birthday Boy Benson the PARTY ANIMAL!

We celebrated our baby boy's 2nd birthday this weekend while in Mtn. Home. It was so fun!
We decided to just have the party while we were all together for Memorial day weekend.
We did a "Party Animal" theme and it was kind of perfect for our crazy little guy.
The theme was bright and colorful and wild- just like Benson.
I really love the printed animals on the backdrop. They were so fun- their cute little party hats and bow ties. I love this theme!

so many fun banners and accents.

We kept it simple for the food- kool-aid or "Fruity Animal Punch"
"Party like an Animal Cupcakes"
Oh and "Party Animal Cake"
How cute is the little "Benson is two" flag?

Oh and we had these cute little "Zebras cakes" because you can't have an animal party without those obviously.
Also, you can't have a party animal party without animals with party hats. SOOO MANY party hats.

I, of course, couldn't get Benson to stand still for a picture alone.
So I held him for our picture.
We were also able to make it into a double party and celebrate Hazel too. Benson and Hazel were born only 3 days apart. So we combined their parties and it was wild!
These cute kids make our lives so exciting so its fitting that we had this theme for them.
This picture isn't great- with two crying cousins, but it cracks me up anyway.
This is life with 9 cousins, 9 years and younger.
The kids opened their presents and loved their presents.
Then it was time for cake.
Again, Benson wouldn't smile for a picture with his cake, so I had to settle for some candid shots.
Isn't this cake topper so fun? Both Benson and Hazel were a little terrified of the firework topper, but it was so fun.

After presents, cake and treats we played "Pin the party hat on the Gorilla".

It was a great night full of family, food and fun.
Happy Birthday to our sweet Benson!
He's the perfect caboose for our family and he keeps us on our toes at all time.
He's so funny. He has such a cute little personality and he loves to make everyone laugh.
We love our favorite 2 year old!
