May the Force be With you this Halloween

If anyone needed the force with them, it was me trying to wrangle my kids for a group picture in our costumes. It was not simple or easy but we eventually got one.
Benson did not make the job easy but I'm more stubborn then he was.
Here are a few pics we managed.

I love our costumes this year. We are such star wars geeks so this as perfect.
The kids really loved the theme this year.
Benson told everyone that he wasn't "Yoda" he was a green puppy. We let him think that, but in reality he was the cutest Yoda ever.

Of course we had to get one of Vader and Luke dueling.
Tucker loved being Darth Vader. He was so happy with his costume.

Tanner also loved his costume. He loves all the little details that make a costume realistic. He was thrilled when I helped him put on the leg wraps, belt attachments and connector piece for his light saber, so it could hang from his waist.

He looked so handsome. Love this boy!

Bailey loved her Princess Leia costume. Since we cut her hair before our cruise, it was a little short for the classic "Leia buns", but we made it work.

Then I had to snag a picture of the "Leia" and "Luke".
This was kind of perfect because they are so close in size and look so similar.

Chris was such a handsome "Han Solo".

And I was his trusty sidekick "Chewbacca". I tried to make Chewy cute, but it was difficult considering he's a furry giant.

And here are a couple of us together.
Love this guy so much!

After leaving the kids' class parties at school, we drove over to Dad's office to "Trunk or Treat" and the kids had so much fun.

Then we had a little Halloween feast. We served all the spooky foods.

After eating dinner, Chris took the kids' trick or treating around the neighborhood while I stayed home. I wasn't feeling great. So The kiddos and Chris met up with the Drake cousins and trick- or-treated our neighborhood. They had a great time.
We had a fantastic Halloween. I'm very much looking forward to November and a hopefully bit more quiet time.
