Summer Fun in June

Before the Thornocks arrived for their visit, We spent the first day of June at the pool. It was the neighborhood luau and it was so fun. The kids loved getting snow cones and beach balls. We invited our friends, the Lowdens, to come too and the kids had a blast with their friends. We are so happy SUMMER IS HERE!

After the pool, the big kids went home with Mrs. April to play some more. They had the best time. The Lowdens have the coolest house.

The next day the Thornocks arrived and we partied so hard for a whole week.
After our Thornock friends left, we had to keep ourselves entertained.
We met some friends at the pool to play on Saturday morning.
We sure love our Fuhriman friends.

On Monday, Tanner started his reading program. After he finished for the day we picked him up and had a picnic and played at the playground at Sugar Creek Elementary.
It was such a nice day. with the kiddos, I know it won't always be like this, but it was so fun to enjoy the kids.

On Tuesday we went to our friends pool to play. I love this shot of Bailey with her eyelash goggles. So funny.
Sunbathers- cute little kids.

On Wednesday we wen to the library after picking up Tanner and then grabbed a free lunch too.
All summer long, our library offers free lunch from 11-12:30. It's so awesome. The kids love it.
If they don't give out all their lunches, then they get charged for them, so we "help" our every now and then and take a lunch.
On Thursday we went to the "Super Science" program at the library.
This is such a fun presenation. Our library is pretty great. The kids loved watching Steve the scientist as he taught so many cool lessons.

This was the kids tasting a gas that tasted like skittles

Oh and the tornado races were such a hit.
Tanner's team one the first race against the girls.
Tucker also got a turn to race. He followed Tanner's instructions and was so happy when the boy team won again.
Look at this boy and his cute face!

They loved it and so did I. What a fun morning learning all about science.
On Friday we drove down to Fayetteville and met with Aunt Sarah and her kids. We went to the Dickson bookstore. The kids each got to pick out one new book.
It was such a cool bookstore. It was stuffed to the brim with books and the kids had the best time searching through them all.
On Saturday, Daddy came home from Annual Training after being gone for two weeks and we celebrated by taking him to our favorite snow cone place. So yummy!

The following Monday and Tuesday we were in Branson to visit Nanny and Papa.
But when we got back it was back to playing with friends and swimming.

We sure love pool days with the cousins.

We also got to go to the drive in theater to see "Toy Story 4" with our Favorite Fuhrimans. It was such a fun night. The kids really did pretty great. Tucker struggled near the end, but the rest of the kids (including Benson) were champions. It was a cute movie and the perfect way to spend a gorgeous summer night!

Look at all these cuties hanging outing in the back of Mr. Dave's truck. It's so fun that they all love each other so much.

The last week of June was spent busy with Twilight Camp and Camp War Eagle.
June was action packed and we had a great time.
I was also able to make a run to the temple with some friends and it was so nice.

We had so much fun eating all the food and shopping at Ikea. Love these girls!

Now on to July- we have a family reunion during the first week of July so stay tuned for that.
