Happy birthday to our favorite guy! He generously offered to celebrate his birthday late this year since his birthday fell on Mother's day this year and he didn't want to intrude on my day. (He's the best)
So we celebrate him today, the day after his actual birthday. I made him french toast this morning and he loved that. We also let him sleep him as late as he wanted (which was 8 am).
Then later we opened presents with him and that night we had a seafood feast. The kids loved the fish and shrimp along with salad and cheddar biscuits.
Chris works so hard for us and is always thinking about others. He serves in the National Guard and he works at the Kansas City temple. He works full time at Sam's Club corporate office and with his limited free time, we've been working on flipping a fixer upper house.
Basically, he never rests. He never takes a day off and he never complains. He's the greatest and we are so grateful for the extra time we've had with him home these last two months. I know he doesn't love working from home but we sure love getting see more of him.
