Halloween Fun

We've spent the month having lots of Halloween fun together. It's the best!
Because we homeschool now, we have have endless time together and get to do fun projects like making Halloween pajamas. How cute are these pajamas? The kids worked so hard on their pants and they were so proud of themselves. We finished these pants on October first and the kids have been wearing them all month.

I told the kids to strike a smile and Benson pulled out "finger guns". I absolutely lost it. I started laughing so hard and could hardly hold my camera straight. He's such a funny kid.

We also had the Drake cousins over for a Halloween movie night.
We missed the Allred cousins but we had fun. We watched "Hocus Pocus" and had popcorn and orange soda. The kids have been missing their cousins so this was a fun treat for them.
This pandemic is so isolating!

We also had a "class" Halloween party. If the kids had been in school, enrolled in normal life, they would be having a Halloween party. So we decided to have our own. Because their Halloween pjs had eyeballs on them, we decided to have an eye ball themed party.

The kids all wore their Halloween pajamas and it was fun!

We also made a Halloween jack-o-lantern pizza and watched "Double Double Toil and Trouble".

Another night, before Halloween, we went on our Haunted Express ride. The kids loved this.
I made these cute tickets and each kid got a cup of hot chocolate.

We loaded up and drove all around the "Trail of Fears" to see tons of different haunted light displays.
We all loved it. Our city puts out a map with all the houses that are decked out for Halloween and there were tons of houses. We had a great time finding all the spooky setups.

Then a couple nights before Halloween, we finally got our pumpkins carved.

The kids did most of it themselves this year and I was grateful. I don't love carving pumpkins.

Halloween is tomorrow and I'm so excited for our costumes. Stay tuned for the big reveal!
