Girl's Trip to Lacey Q's

I just got home from a super fun weekend in Nixa, Missouri with my girlfriends. April Lowden, Erin Lowden, Lacey Henderon and I drove up to Lacey Quale's house together on Friday morning. After getting a tour of her new house and unloading our bags, we went to get lunch together at Panera. Then we ran a few little errands and then drove down Branson to "Top of the Rock". Lacey's husband had booked us a VIP golf cart tour and we were excited to experience it.

It was so cute. We loaded up on our golf cart and started our driving tour and after we went around the first turn we saw a welcome sign made just for us.

To explain the "All Nighter Moms" name I have to first say that we are all old tired moms, so with that in mind- we named our group chat "all nighter moms" because whenever we are all together we stay up all night talking and laughing. It's a bit crazy.  So when we saw the sign we had a good laugh and we had to take a picture with it.

The golf cart tour was super fun and the scenery was beautiful! We enjoyed it and then went to get dinner together.

We went to "Little Hacienda" in Branson for dinner and it was super yummy. We all enjoyed our meals and our huge horchata drinks.

After dinner we drove back to Lacey's house and stayed up way too late doing face masks, talking and laughing. It was super fun. We have the best time just hanging out together.

This  morning we woke up way earlier than we wanted and drove to the river to float on tubes. It was so fun! Lacey Quale had booked us an outing with a river outfitter nearby so we had tubes provided, a ride to the drop off point and someone to take our tubes when we finished. It was so fun. The float took us about 5 hours and we just talked and laughed the entire time. I totally recommend floating the river with friends or family. We all loved it.

After our float we all went back to Lacey's to shower and get cleaned up. It felt so good. I was so proud that no one got sunburned. We were very responsible.

Before we had left this morning for our float trip, Lacey Q had started a crockpot dinner for us. So when we got back, we were able to eat and then we just sat around talking and not wanting our weekend to be over.

Eventually we had to leave to drive the 2 hours home but on our way we stopped at Wal-Mart and got our selves a little ice cream treat.

We had such a great time together and I'm just so grateful for sweet friends that are uplifting and loving. Good friends make all the difference! Can't wait for our next trip- we are planning something big to celebrate Lacey Q's 40th birthday.
