Easter 2022

We just had a wonderful Easter weekend. It was just beautiful and the sacrament meeting was perfect.
We listened to beautiful musical numbers and testimony and it was just what my soul needed.
I'm so blessed to have these kiddos. And because my Savior lives, we get to be together forever.

We really enjoyed getting to have Easter with Nanny and Papa too. What a wonderful day!
We were able to take these cute pictures during the week, in between the days of rain. I love how they turned out.

These kids bring me so much joy.

My friend, April, had just bought baby chicks, so she let us use them for some pictures.

I just love all the different facial expressions.

I took individual pictures of each kid and it was so fun. They were loving snuggling the baby chicks.

I really love these kids in their Easter outfits too.

You might think that a 12-year boy would be too old for baby chicks. Turns out, no one is too old for baby chicks. They are too cute not to love.

Benson really loved his little chick. The chick kept pecking at his suspenders and it was so funny.

I can hardly believe its already Easter. Time is flying by this year but I'm grateful we were able to slow down today and enjoy our beautiful Easter Sunday
Happy Easter everyone!

Easter Fun

We've been having fun getting ready for Easter. We had our traditional egg dying party.
I had found this floral vine backdrop a while ago and I couldn't wait to use it. I love it!

And I love these cute kiddos.

It was a fun little party complete with pink lemonade and cupcakes.
I also made sure to have lots of eggs for everyone to dye.

These kiddos are my favorite.

This year I bought two "Egg-Mazing" coloring machines and we all had so much fun with them.
I boiled enough eggs for each kid and we went through those in no time.

It was so fun. Everyone had fun coloring them and they turned out so cool looking.

Even Dad joined us for some egg coloring fun.

This picture is too perfect. It shows each personality so perfect.

Another day Benson had a preschool egg hunt. It was as adorable as you would expect.

Benson was a little freaked out by the Easter Bunny that visited. But I was able to bribe him with some poke bowl to get him to take a picture.
How cute is this picture of Benson's preschool class ?

And we were able to kickoff our Easter weekend with our annual Christian Passover feast.
It was especially meaningful because we had just studied the first Passover feast in Exodus during our Come, Follow Me study.  It was so cool and the spirit was so strong.
And the food was delicious.
And it was extra fun to have Nanny and Papa there for our feast.
The special grape juice cup is always a favorite.

After our Passover feast the cousins came over for an egg hunt.
Tucker was especially proud of his panda egg.

The kids had so much fun hunting for eggs. We almost found them all. lol

We were missing the Allreds but we had a lot of fun.

Now on to Easter Sunday. I love that we try and keep our Easter Sunday focused on Christ. It's so amazing and I can't wait for tmrw.

Girl's Trip for Mom

Last weekend I got to go on a little girls trip. My sweet friend Chantyl moved to Utah back in November. We were so heartbroken to have her and her family move.
Fast forward to March of this year and her husband sent a text to a few of us girls saying he wanted to treat Chantyl to a girls trip. He paid for the hotel and the gas, Chantyl flew into XNA and we all drove up to Branson together for a long weekend. It was so fun.
Friday night we drove up and got some dinner, then checked into our condo.
Saturday we spent the whole day shopping. We hit all the outlets and ended our night at the landing eating yummy Mexican food.
We did some serious damage at the outlets and had the best time shopping together.
We ended our night with a funny chick flick and laughed until our sides hurt.

Sunday we slept in, ate a late breakfast and then we got massages and ate some more yummy food. That afternoon we went and had these old fashioned photos taken. It was so fun. We had a great time together.

That night we ate dinner at a cute diner and then watched a movie back at our condo.
We slept in the next morning and then got packed up. Chantyl had to catch an early flight and it was sad to say goodbye.
We had the best time together. We slept in, ate all the delicious food,  shopped and napped.
It was so nice to spend time with girls with no drama and no gossiping. I just want friends who uplift and encourage and that's what these girls do for me. They are wonderful and we had the best time.

It was a wonderfully relaxing weekend and I was so grateful for the break.
